Dancing is an effective and efficient shortcut to divinity and pleasure. It is the conversation between the body and soul. It certainly can be thought of as the most expressive and emotional form of art in nature. EVENT GUIDLINES

  1. Team size 6 to 40

  2. Minimum 4 members must be present on the stage during the performance

  3. Participant must bring their music in pen drive which must be 6-10 minutes long

  4. There's only one round

  5. Performers have to clear the stage after their performance otherwise they will be penalized heavily by the organizers. 20% mars will be deducted if the performance exceeds by 10 sec. if the performance increases further 20sec then it will lead to disqualification.

JUDGING CRIETERIA

  1. Synchronisation,choreography,expression

  2. Energy level,stage utilization,costumes

  3. Overall impact,innovation,presentation,crowd appeal

GENERAL RULES

  1. Participants must get their songs music on CD and pen-drive. itis advised that they have backup in CD. Team Effervescence will not be responsible for this.

  2. Live music is not allowed

  3. The participating teams are requested to ensure that their finals should not be repeated and the performance is in keeping with the dignity of the fest.

  4. In case of malfunctioning of any equipment provided , the participants will be allowed to repeat the performance from the beginning or from the point of disruption that the participant wishes, with the consent of the judge.

  5. Accessories, costumes, props will have to be arranged bt the participants

  6. The decision of the Judges and the organizing team will be final and binding.

EVENT GUIDLINES

  1. The team can have a maximum 25 members

  2. The team can bring their music instruments if they want.

  3. The time limit of each team will be 25 minutes. The total time will be from empty stage to empty stage.

  4. The team will be penaized if the time limit is exceeded.

  5. Any instance of vulgarity or disturbing content of any order will lead to forceful halt of performance and immediate disqualification.

  6. All costumers and accessories are to be arranged by the participating team.

  7. The judges decision will be final.

  1. The team can have a 15-25 members per theme

  2. A college can perform more than one theme after registering separately for evry theme.

  3. The time limit for each team performance is 15 minutes , if the performance further exceeds the it may lead to point deduction or disqualification.

  4. There will be 2 rounds including preliminaries and final round.

Incendiary Is India's Oldest And The Most Prestigious Rock Band Competition. With Prizes Worth Lacs Of Rupees And Your Prestige At Stake, Incendiary Has Been The Launch Pad For Many Contemporary Bands Including Syndrome, Vertigo And Many More. EVENT GUIDLINES

  1. This is a western rock band competition, open to any college or semi-professional band in India.

  2. After the registration a list of bands will be released who will be performing at the main evet in IIIT Allahabad

  3. The Main event at IIIT Allahabad will consist if rounds: pre-finals and finals

  4. In pre finals at IIIT Allahabad , a group have to perform two numbers of their choicce and one number of the judges choice within 20 minutes

  5. In finals , a group will be required to perform in a time of 15+20 minutes(Amps on to amps off inclusive of the sound check). Of the 15 minutes maximum shall be given to the setup and 20 minutes maximum for the performance. Failure in adherence will lead to the disqualification. Bands will be banned from performing in all subsequent edition of the effervescence disqualified on the spot for the misconduct, obscenity or foul language and

  6. Marks will be deducted for the exceeding time limit

  7. Equipments provided will be: One bass amplifier speaker, One lead amplifier speaker, adequate microphones, drum set ( You can bring along with your own cymbals and chokes/high hats)

  8. Bands will have to bring yheir own music instruments and special effects , However programmed music is not allowed

  9. Effervescence will not be held responsible for the failure of any instrument

  10. The decision of the judges will be final and binding

Innovation

The Drama Event

All emotions come at play with a plethora of feelings at the main stage event for Dramatics. EVENT GUIDLINES

  1. This is a team event

  2. Each team can hae minimum 5 and maximum 15 members

  3. There's only one round

  4. Language of the play can be english/hindi

  5. A total time of 30 minutes(set-up+performance) shall be given to each them. after which the mic will be cut offand upon unwillingness to stop, team will be disqualified

  6. Microphones and backstage mics for narration and lights will be provided.
